Working on my own sometimes makes me feel like in my own cocoon, and I tend to overlook on some areas or run out of ideas. Now with all these great suggestions, I will have to work on them and hope that I can implement them soon.

By the way, I didn't built the website myself (incase you thought so). I engaged Sheilla of Made with Love inc. to help me. I love her graphics. She is the one who turned my doodles into the 3 cute piggies. Some wonder why the piggies and the shop name Fat Connection, I will explain that in another post.

I have got some laces up on my etsy shop, more stuffs are on the way.

Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day- Here's the giveaway!

These are what I have managed to dig out:

1)a pair of baby booties that I have made some time ago, don't think it will be in use in the near future, so might as well give it to someone who might need it.
2)a granny bag that I have made some time ago too, still not in use, don't think I will use it too.
3)yards of trims and laces, enough for making clothings or for other uses.
4)a fat quarter of one the Japanese fabric in my shop, which one? I have not decided, let it be a surprise for the winner.

Well.... a few of you got it right..... that hairy green thing in Hanhan's hand is

BABY RAMBUTAN!

We picked this baby rambutan under a tree near my Mum's place, there are a lot more on the ground, fallen after a night of rain, they look so cute. I used to think that Singapore only has one season and that's SUMMER, I didn't really realise there is also spring until I found these baby rambutans. They made me take a better and closer look at my environment, then I realised the new shoots and leaves coming out from the plants. There are a lot more Mimosa then any other time of the year too, although Hanhan and I have been playing with it.

Zipper pouch and cosmetic pouch. Simple and nice.

I might make some for my etsy shop when I have the time.

I feel I took really bad photos of my fabrics, they are much more gorgeous than what you see in the previous post, so I tried again.

100th post give-away

It's already the 100th post for my blog! Although I don't see many people leaving comments on my blog, but I know that they are some of you who popped in to have a look at my blog from time to time. Having this blog really motivates me to do what I like to do.... now mostly sewing. And knowing that there are people who are interested in what I'm doing really makes me feel good :) So to thank you people for being interested in my blog, I'm going to customise a tissue pouch cum purse for one of you. You get to choose one of the following design and a fabric from my range of drill.
